Singapore Irish runs Singapore’s largest dedicated girls’ rugby programme, with teams spanning U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18. We combine a warm welcome for beginners with genuine opportunities to compete and succeed.
At the Chiang Mai 7s our U14 girls were Cup champions, while our U16 and U19 girls reached Cup finals. For parents looking for contact rugby for girls in Singapore, we offer a clearly defined pathway and a team to join.

Serious about rugby.
Even more serious about people.
Girls who are entirely new to rugby train alongside players with school or club experience. Coaches build skills step by step, and our tournament programme gives teams goals to work towards.
At the SRU Rugby Carnival 10s in October 2026, our U16 girls were Cup winners, winning every game without conceding a try. Our U14 girls’ teams finished as Cup winners and runners-up. Our U18 girls finished as runners-up.
In 2026 the U14 girls won the Chiang Mai International 7s Cup. The U16 girls reached the Cup final, and the club also reported an U19 girls’ final appearance. These results reflect a pathway that supports participation and progress.
We run the annual St Patrick’s Girls’ & Women’s Cup, a community tournament that has grown from around 170 players in its inaugural year to approximately 370 expected in 2026.
